Babysitting

So yesterday I babysat the H. kids all day. I just wanted to share some of the things that happened today :).
#1 I was getting the kids breakfast I was asking Clara if she wanted a "Clara sized orange" (one of those "cutie" things) or a big one. She looked at me and kinda tilted her head and said "well, I think today I am going to have a Sam size orange" :)

#2 I had Hazel on the floor in the living room, in her Bumbo thing, feeding her lunch while the other kids watched a movie. A couple of times I had to get up and get something out of the kitchen. Every time I walked back into the living room she would just grin and start giggling at me. It was pretty cute. :)

#3 The whole time we were watching the movie Clara was dressing up so every five minutes or so she would come trotting into the living room with nothing on but her undies saying "tan you help me?"

#4 Me and Sam had a big fight about books during nap time. I told him that he could look at three books during nap time of course he started crying and saying that he wanted four books. I told him no and every time he argued I would take a book away. He kept arguing and got down to one book when I just put him in bed and told him that he only got one book. I left his room and he started SCREAMING. I let him holler for a few minutes then I went in there to try to get him to stop screaming, I would have just let him scream it out but Clara and Hazel were trying to sleep. So I got him calmed down a little and I read him his book. He was pretty calm by the time that I finished the book. I put him back to bed and he started to cry again. I asked him what was wrong "I want thhhhrrrreee books!!" he sobbed. ARRRGGG I left the room and let him scream for I little longer hoping that he would fall asleep, no such luck. Before he left Mr. Aaron said that if I had any problems to call him, I don't really like to call him while he is working but this boy had been screaming for 40 minutes! So I went into Sam's room and told him that if he did not stop crying in 3 minutes I would call his dad and have him talk to Sam. WOW you be AMAZED how quickly that boy quieted down :). Ahhhh, the power of daddy. :)

#5 After I got Sam quieted down I went to check on Rebekah, she had to play quietly in her room then she could come out so we could play together. When I went in to check on her she was sitting leaned up against the wall with this little black, pink, and lace leotard on, reading a book, and singing along with her new CD. A girl after my own heart (the reading and singing part, not really her choice of clothing :) )

Photography

So Tuesdays are my big days. In the morning I have two online classes and then after that I have piano and then I spend the rest of the day at Lydia's house (we do Photography together and then we go square dancing).

When I woke up this morning I took the puppies outside. Then I sat down to start class, buuuutttt our internet was not working! We tried to mess with it to get it to work for a while but it wouldn't work. So we rushed into town, (about a ten minute drive) went to a little coffee shop that was closed. Then my mom called some friends of ours to see if we could come over and I could do class with their internet. They said that we could but it was still like 7:00 am and the kids were all still sleeping :). When we got to their house we found out that THEIR internet was not working either! We just went back home and I didn't have to go to Science today.

Our internet was working by the time that I had to do my history class so that was good. After History was over we went to Piano and I finished doing my Christmas shopping! We are doing our family Christmas on Saturday!

After piano and shopping I went to Lydia's house to do Photography and square dancing. Our lesson in photo. was on silhouettes. So first we tried to put a sheet on the wall and have one person stand next to the sheet with a light behind them and take the picture from behind the person. The only problem was, to get a clear image you had to stand really close to the sheet and then the person that was taking the pic could not get a photo of your silhouette without getting you in the picture too. The next thing that we did was hang the sheet outside of the bath tub and have one person stand on one side of the sheet and pose for a picture. The other person would take the camera and get INTO the tub and take a picture of the silhouette. After we figured out how to do it we had some fun taking different poses, but since the bathroom door was closed we did not hear the alarm telling Lydia it was time to leave and babysit (Woops!) but she made it just a few minutes late :), ahhh fun times!

New Hairstyle?

So I am thinking of getting my hair cut shorter but I am not sure what to do. I have decided that I just take better care of my hair when it is short and it just looks curlier and more full of life :) so here are some things that I am thinking of doing. What do you think?

Quick and Easy Lunch

Just finished lunch. It took me quite a while to decide what I wanted to eat but I finally decided on Tortilla Pizza, Here is how you make it!

1 Tortilla

1 Tablespoon BBQ sauce

shredded cheddar cheese

toppings

Take the toppings and put the BBQ sauce on top. Put on the cheese and add whatever toppings you like ( Pepperoni, peppers, sausage, hamburger, what ever else you want) or just leave it plain. If you are just making some for yourself than you can just put it in the microwave for about 1 minute. If you are making it for more people set the oven on 350 degrees Fahrenheit, and put it in there until the cheese is melted and a little brown around the edges. ENJOY!

Cuteness

So if you happened to read the description of this blog then you would have noticed that I breed my dog Elizabeth. Well has had a litter of puppies and they are about 9 weeks old right now. I have two left :( the only little girl in the litter has gone to live with her new family. Any way I am watching them right now and they are in the midst of a "battle" (aka they are running around growling and barking and trying to look as scary as possible.) Elizabeth (the mother) is sitting in her bed looking board and TIRED! Now they have went on to attacking Elizabeth, so she gets up and leaves :) they stare after her very hurt, then move on to scratching their ears :P OHH if only you could see them! I have a few pics but they don't do justice to how cute the puppies are! The pictures are of "Duncan" the other boy that I have is "Jake" They are both already sold I am just holding them for a while.
